What after Final Provisional Allotment in IBPS exams

Every year lakhs of students appear for the IBPS exam of PO, SO and Clerical post. IBPS recruits for the Public Sector Banks of India whereas, SBI and RBI conducts exam independently but on the same pattern.

IBPS takes the exam at end of every year (near the month of October-November) and Interview in the month of January-February, and declares the Provisional List on 1,April of that year.

What is the Provisional List?
– It is the final cutoff (80:20- written:interview) out of 100 marks, result with the allocation of  bank according to your preference marked in the Application form.
The Provisional list of PO and Clerical exam usually declared on 1st, April.
When is the joining for the respective Banks start?
– After Provisional List, IBPS forward the list to the selected candidates to their respective Banks, from where onward the HR department starts the procedure of joining.

The date of joining depends on the respective HR department of that Bank which you have been allotted so keep visiting the respective Bank Official site or try to contact them to know the further procedure.

How Bank will contact you for joining?

– The HR department of that Bank will send e-mail, or letter at you home with enclosed details of joining and verification procedure.

The joining process and training is different of different banks.
When will training be started?
– The training of every Bank takes place at their Headquarters. So, wisely fill the preference as you will have to visit other state. Although, hostel facility is provided by the banks.
The period varies of each Bank from 6-8 weeks. And you may be asked to submit documents at the date of joining training period at the headquarter. And Medical examination by their own or recommended hospital. Medical examination fee is charged, its not free.
